The Academy

NorthEast Christian Learning Academy is an academically enriched, state-certified Christian childcare program that provides a safe, fun, and affordable environment for your child. We offer part-time childcare for children ages 8 weeks to Pre-K, with a school day running from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM. Families can choose between a two-day option on Tuesdays and Thursdays or a four-day option from Monday to Thursday. The Academy follows the Fayette County Public School system for holiday and weather-related closures, and our school year begins in September. 

To enroll in a class, a child must reach the required age by August 1. For example, to join the 3-year-old class, a child must turn 3 by August 1. This policy aligns with the Fayette County age cut-off and helps ensure your child stays on track for timely kindergarten entry.

NorthEast Christian Learning Academy is a private daycare center that is a part of NorthEast Christian Church In Hamburg. Our goal is to provide the absolute best care for children six weeks to five years old. Our commitment to families and children is at the forefront of what we do here. 

NorthEast Christian Learning Academy is actively seeking applicants who are committed to fostering the growth, development, and education of our students.  

  • Have experience working with young children  
  • Be kind, respectful, reliable, punctual, nurturing, and be a team player  
  • Be able to lift up to 30 lbs.  
  • Have a clear criminal background check  
  • High school or equivalent (Required)  
  • CPR Certification (Preferred)  
  • Negative TB test  
  • Must meet 15 hours worth of training requirements put in place by the state of Kentucky’s Licensing program by the end of the school year.
