Matthew 28:19-20 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Bluegrass Christian Camp
Bluegrass Christian Camp: Discipling Youth, Empowering the Family, Encouraging the Church, & Engaging the Community
We believe when people have a safe place to be themselves, they can be restored. This is the primary focus of our ministry and we believe the need for a place of restoration is more important than ever for youth and families.
Within hours of opening summer registration in January we sold out numerous sessions on the way to a record setting attendance across 14 summer camp sessions. In addition , nearly 200 campers joined us at our inaugural day camps in Frankfort and Mt. Sterling. These were the first major steps in our new initiative to encourage churches and engage families.
2021 marked our seventh summer engaged with Booker T. Washington Elementary. Graduates of our initial camps now serve as counselors in ALL of our summer camps.

Christian Student Fellowship
Christian Student Fellowship | CSF is a non-denominational campus ministry on UK’s campus. CSF isn’t a place. CSF isn’t a program. CSF is everywhere on campus—although we do have a building where we sometimes hang out. It’s a million different places and a million different people. It’s downtown serving the homeless. Climbing at the Johnson Center. A conversation about Jesus ’til 2am. It’s wherever people are interacting with each other and with God.
CSF is mainly staffed by recent graduates of UK who give the first year or two years post-graduation to giving back to the UK community by working full time at CSF. We have a few ‘older’ people who serve as long-term staff that help guide and invest into these younger staff members. The staff then pours into our student leaders who then pour into campus.
Old staff. Young staff. Student Leaders. Campus. This is how CSF reaches out to campus. CSF does 150+ unique events throughout the year designed to connect with people at UK- this is on top of dozens of small groups that meet on campus each week and the 400+ CSF student leaders that meet in weekly “M Groups” for discipleship and accountability.
CSF also has a ministry for international students which includes a language partner program. This matches an international student to a volunteer to meet weekly to practice English and build relationships.
Church Under the Bridge
Church Under The Bridge | CUTB began its ministry in May of 2003 by four people from four different local Lexington Kentucky Churches having a vision and passion for the needs of the homeless.
CUTB has been called to the inner-city of Lexington, to reach out to our neighbors, our brothers and sisters who are homeless or marginally-housed. CUTB welcomes each other in celebration, in a casual come as you are environment, to grow in relationship with one another, as we grow in relationship with our Father. Approximately sixteen Lexington churches, including Northeast, serve at Church Under The Bridge.
Every Sunday Church Under The Bridge comes together in Downtown Lexington to love God and to love their neighbors. This includes worship, teaching and prayer. This is followed by a powerful display of Christ’s love with a free hot meal, a packed lunch bag to go and many services; i.e. medical and case management, prescriptions, bus tokens, hair stylist, and various types of clothing and personal needs.
Church Under The Bridge meets outside on the grounds of The Mission House (The Episcopal Diocese) at 4th and Martin Luther King Blvd.
City for the Nations-Nepal Vision 2027
City for the Nations exists to unleash cities to disciple nations. Our partnership linking Nepal to Lexington started in 2016 resulting in the engagement of 57 Unengaged, Unreached People Groups in Nepal over the next three years. The work in Nepal has transitioned since that time to building up the church of Nepal to reach every village with the gospel. We have been building a coalition of ministries in Nepal to participate in Vision 2027 with the goal of a church in every village and UUPG in Nepal by the end of 2027. We continue to link Christians, business leaders and churches in the Lexington area to this vision in Nepal. People can participate through prayer, giving and going with us to assist the work in Nepal. For more information, click here.
CRU
Cru- Central Asia | “M&M” are excited to answer the Lord’s calling on their lives to preach the gospel among Muslim people groups and to serve long-term in Central Asia. God brought them together in marriage because of a mutual heart to reach the least-reached for His Kingdom, and now we are in preparations to go. They will be ministering with CRU to win, build, and send Muslim background students in cities across the region. Our goal is to see a labor force of passionate young Central Asians set on fire for the Kingdom, so that their fire can spread across the rest of the Muslim world. They hope to start disciple-making-movements with our team that will grow the local church into a well-equipped witness to a dark and lost culture.
Ethnos 360
Ethnos 360 | Stefan and Sharon each grew up in multi- cultural families with parents in ministry overseas. Through that background, they saw the unfolding of God’s grace in our own lives and the need for an understanding of the gospel among all nations. As they grew and developed in their professions (Stefan as a teacher and Sharon as a clinical social worker), they continued to have a firm conviction of the power of the gospel to change lives. After serving in our local communities and local church for several years, they were challenged to be a part of taking the gospel to areas with less access to God’s truth, and we moved overseas.
In 2006, they moved to Mozambique where they worked both in urban and rural settings with the local church, teaching and equipping believers to spread the gospel. For the last several years (through 2020), their efforts were focused not only on Bible literacy and pastor training, but also in equipping believers to be sustainable in ministry.
In 2021, they relocated to South Africa, where they will continue to challenge the Church and to equip believers in cross-cultural ministry. When they look at the global trends in ministry as well as projected world population growth, they see South Africa as being a strategic location in which to minister. They are excited to position themselves to serve the African Church: to challenge young leaders as they make vocational decisions, to continue to make disciples through foundational Bible teaching and to equip believers as they reach the world with the good news of the gospel.
They have the privilege of raising four children and bringing them along with them on this journey: Cohen (15), Christian (13), Wesley Grace (11) and Alexandra (9). They have both witnessed and experienced first-hand some of the realities of the brokenness of our world and the challenges of life in developing countries as well as the mercy and faithfulness of the God we proclaim. They see God raising up a new generation of followers, and count it an honor to live out the gospel in their own lives with them in Africa.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes
FCA | Central Kentucky Fellowship of Christian Athletes desires to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes. We serve our local schools, teams coaches, athletes and community by building relationships that demonstrate steadfast commitment to Jesus Christ and his word through integrity, serving, teamwork, and excellence. CKY FCA seeks to make disciples through methods of engaging, equipping, and empowering
coaches and athletes to know and grow in Christ and lead others to do the same. The mission of the ministry never changes: “To lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.” CKY FCA fulfills this mission by providing Bible studies, chapels, huddles, special events, and one-on-one meetings. Each day we are planting seeds in hopes to continually grow a harvest for Christ.
Generations Church
Generations Church | Generations Church began with the call of Kyle & Ruth Davies to church planting in 2015. At that time they weren’t sure where in the country God was leading them. Uprooting their life and ministry, they went on a journey of exploration that led them to the Pacific Northwest at the invitation of George Johnson and the CEA. Ruth remembers that first plane ride to the Portland Airport saying, “It feels as if we are going to meet family.”
After living in Vancouver for a time, Kyle and Ruth began inviting families and friends to join the journey of starting a new church. Psalm 22 was a formative Scripture that led to the naming of the church. The initial scope and shape of Generations Church began to form in January 2019.
Together this initial group of people agreed to embody a common vision—being a community of people who engaged others with the news that God had not forgotten them. Starting from scratch the church began to gain momentum by adding value to the community through events, social engagement, and express their everyday faith in Jesus. In October 2019, we began weekly Sunday Gatherings at the Salmon Creek American Legion.
Today, we have a driving conviction to display that God’s family is full of everyday people because of Jesus. We dream about future generations knowing Jesus and experiencing a positive impact that transcends multiple generations.
Lemonade International
Lemonade International’s mission is to help the children and families of La Limonada, Guatemala, the largest urban slum in Central America. Together with our Guatemalan partner, Vidas Plenas, we work to break cycles of poverty, violence and injustice through education, gang prevention and community relief.
We currently support five neighborhood Academies serving the families of La Limonada, reaching all with the impact of God’s love through intentional discipleship. We provide safe places for academic formation, food distribution, parenting classes, mental health, and hygiene care. Our Sponsorship Program moves missions from transactional to relational by partnering families in the US with students in La Limonada, and our Scholars Program empowers children to continue their education past 6th grade and to graduate high school. Our Rescue Program reaches at-risk youth who are already being tempted by gang life. And we provide comprehensive care through Home Visits and the Community Relief program, directly providing for the urgent and unexpected needs of the most vulnerable in La Limonada.

Lexington Rescue Mission
Lexington Rescue Mission| In the fall of 2000, Jim and Becky Connell felt led by the Lord to start a ministry to the poor and homeless. In April 2001, Jim left his job in Columbus, Indiana, and moved to Lexington to start the Lexington Rescue Mission.
Four months later, the mission purchased a building on North Limestone with the help of a generous gift from a Lexington couple. On November 21, 2001, services started with a Thanksgiving banquet at Broadway Christian Church. The mission then opened its doors to anyone in need of food, clothing, and financial assistance and began offering Bible studies and chapel services for guests.
Since that time, the mission has grown and changed to meet the needs of those we serve. However, one thing remains the same: God is at work here, rebuilding broken lives.
Pioneer Bible Translators
Pioneer Bible Translators –
We support three families with Pioneer Bible Translators. Two of those families work in Eurasia with bible translation in a sensitive area so we must be careful in sharing information. We support these families and their teams through prayer and care packages. In the future, we may have the opportunity to go there and provide training for the team and their children.
Psalm 82:3
Psalm 82:3 | Psalm 82:3 Mission is a Lexington-based mission focused on defending the weak and fatherless of Liberia, Africa. Together, we are developing a safe foster care village and sustainable community center with a dream of equipping the Liberian people to lead the ministry entirely in the future.
Remember The Children
Remember the Children | In the 1990’s, our founder Andy Baker found himself sitting on a tour bus next to a young Romanian gentleman named Mircea Toca. Mircea asked Andy a surprising question, “would you like to see my 16 children?” Andy was in disbelief and thought, how could this young man have 16 children? Mircea began to show Andy pictures of the children he had adopted, and then did something even more surprising— He invited Andy to meet them.
The next year, Andy and his wife traveled to Romania to visit Mircea. He introduced the couple to two groups of children: the kids he had adopted, and the kids in the government facilities. It was a huge change to move from the wonderful home that Mircea and his wife were leading with the children they had adopted, to the government facilities where children had been left and simply forgotten, living in horrific living conditions and suffering from neglect. Andy and his wife were deeply moved, and knew they had to do something. As Andy finished his trip, Mircea hugged him and gave him a three-word challenge, “remember the children.”
As a response, Andy founded Remember the Children in 1996. Over the last 21 years, we have remembered the children of that fateful trip by ministering to the orphaned and forgotten in Romania. We have provided resources, built homes and churches, ministered through acts of kindness, trained leaders, and advocated for the voiceless.
In 2017, Mircea approached Andy once more. He said, “Andy, I am 48 years old and all my children are grown and on their own. I still have the desire to keep going. I believe I need to take my experience and go to Africa.” We are now working with the orphaned in Tanzania, and 36 children have a forever home thanks to the challenge to “remember the children.” The Tanzania ministry is known as Eternal Families.
We believe that local leaders have the most impact in their communities, therefore we are committed to mentoring and empowering them to make a difference. This mission affects everything we do — from mentoring the orphaned children we take care of, empowering church leaders, and pouring into villages.
SEND International
Send International | Home to over 126 million people, Japan is one of the least reached countries in the world. Anthony & Katy have lived in Tokyo, Japan since April of 2019 and serve on a church planting team with SEND International. They work in partnership with a local church, to reach the next generation for Christ through community outreach, discipleship and evangelism, as well as various family and children’s ministry events. They’ve long felt a burden for reaching one of the least reached people groups in the world, the Japanese, with the gospel and they desire to help encourage, empower, and equip the local church to fulfill this mission. The ultimate goal of their ministry is to plant healthy reproducing churches in Japan.
