Wednesday Connection Studies
September 6 – November 15
*Does not meet on October 4th*
Women | Soul Food | Theater 990 | 6:15pm to 7:30pm
A large group study followed by small group breakouts. We’ll look at The Big Three: Peter, James, and John. Registration is required – contact Julie at email@example.com to sign up.
Women | Ephesians | Room 143 | 10:00am or 6:15pm
Ephesians: The Wealth, The Walk, The Warfare. Join us as we embark on a 10 week study of Paul’s letter to the church at Ephesus, written around AD 60-65, when Paul was a prisoner in Rome. After we set the context of the letter, we will study Ephesians verse-by-verse, no homework! Just bring a pen and your Bible. For questions, contact Sharon at firstname.lastname@example.org
Men’s Study | CaveTime | Room 111 | 6:15pm to 7:30pm
Men all over are walking around, taking up space, getting assaulted, and being beaten on. Your masculinity will be attacked and assaulted—relentlessly—on every front, and you will need some help. You need to learn to escape, regroup, recoup, and fight back. Every man needs help. Through understanding your roles and learning to use your stones—just like King David of Israel and his band of 400 brothers did—you too can become a mighty fighting force. CaveTime is a call to you and to every man. It’s a call to show up and live like what you were created to be. For questions, contact Anthony at email@example.com.
Co-Ed Study | The Epic of the Eden | 2nd Floor Conference Room | 6:15pm to 7:30pm
Using the study of Sandra Richter, entitled the Epic of Eden, we are going to jump right into the Old Testament. We are going to talk about its content, its history, and its culture. Why? To understand the nuts of bolts of a large part of Scripture that is otherwise so foreign, so distant…so weird. So that you can understand more deeply the significance of Jesus of Nazareth and God’s redemptive plan for the cosmos. For questions, contact Dave at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Co-Ed Study | Bible 101 | Room 202 | 6:15pm to 7:30pm
Join us as we learn to live out Scripture. This study is designed to discuss both the biblical narrative and some of the common themes taught from the stage here at Northeast. This will give us the chance to review the basics and build upon the ideas we’ve heard from the previous week. Dinner will be provided. For questions, contact Laura Morcus at email@example.com
Children | Kids Connection | Children’s Ministry Areas | 6:05pm to 7:35pm
For children 6 weeks through 5th grade. Your children will have a great time learning about Jesus while you participate in an adult Connections study. Kids must be pre-registered and space may fill up. To register, click here https://goo.gl/forms/PTalldAADVsnnY822 or email Kathy at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Students | The Movement | 2nd Floor Student Ministry Area | 6:45pm to 8:10pm | STARTS August 23rd
Our students participate in worship and teaching in Middle School (6th through 9th) and High School (9th through 12th) environments.
